Frequently Asked Questions
How do I decide what pump I need to purchase?
We recommend a CROC TPS50 for large round troughs and rectangular troughs over 2.5m long. The CROC TPS20 is ideal for those smaller volumed troughs, or to use as an additional pump in larger troughs.
Can I use my existing trough?
Yes you can use your existing trough, just put in a post to stick the solar panel on, and drop the pump in the water. Remember to use some protection for the pump, the cattle will love playing with it.
Where can I buy a Croc TPS?
The CROC Trough Pumping System, parts and accessories are all available from Airr, CRT, Elders, Nutrien & Produce Stores in your local area, just ask for it by name.
Is there assembly required?
There is no assembly of the pump system required other than plugging it into the solar panel, but you will need to put a post in the ground to ensure the panel is kept out of harms way, and if you need to protect the pump from the livestock you may need to fashion a mesh cover.
What is the standard warranty with a CROC trough pumping system?
The Croc TPS pump range carries a 12 month warranty against defects and motor failure. For full warranty details, please refer to the Product Manual on this website.
